Patricia Apollonia Kotero is an American actor, singer, and model. Most famously, she is known for her performance in Prince's 1984 film Purple Rain as well as singing lead in Apollonia 6, a girl group. It was among the many female performers who gained from Prince's association during the 1980s. Patricia Kotero began her acting and modeling career in Santa Monica California, in the latter part of the 1970s. This included an appearance on CHiPS.
